Finally. . in so many ways!

Finally. . . .

*~* We are in the same state. . town. . home! Yay!
*~* Making it to Nashville.
*~* Having my own closet, bed, shower again.
*~* Being a married couple.

Finally posting again!!  It has be an adventurous past two weeks. . better yet, past month!! Let me catch you up!

~~Got married. . . .

~~Finished up the school year. . with 24 eager cleaners!  I had sticker anchors on the floor to show the kids where to stand in line.  They loved being able to help to get them up.

Got to spend QT time with Emily's daughter, Becca.
~~ Moved to Nashville, TN!

SO excited this is the last time packing the car like this!!

~~ Started crafting!  Since it is the summer . . . and teachers have off. . .I decided to satisfy that craft side of me in-between interviews (fingers crossed. . hopefully more on that later).  I am my own Martha Stewart. . or Pinterest addict. . you decide!

Our new coffee table sanded, painted, and put together out of donated pallets!

Just the beginning. .just wipped down. . all dirt gone!

After being white washed.

After being white washed.

Our new pallet table!!  Now we just need a gray couch. . .

Then came the buffet table that I grew bored with. . so we decided to paint it gray (our new favorite color)!
First. . to sand the stain off.  My least favorite part!

The finished product!  Love!

Then I thought we needed a little something for our new coffee table.  I went into my first Jo~Ann Craft store and found this for $3:

I then painted it to look like this:

I'd say success!

Lastly. . I wanted a rug for the kitchen but did NOT feel like paying $50+ for a rug.  So I went to Marshall's and paid $9 for this rug and decided to paint it. Here it is. . . and the perfect fit/design!

A little painter's tape never hurt anyone. . . or Peanut. .

Sketching and painting. .

Finished rug!  Yay!

 Until next time. .

  3. I'm inspired by you! I'm painting some old bookshelves that have seen much better days. They still won't be worth anything to anyone but me, but it'll be a huge improvement!
